What you can expect We are looking for an experienced Platform Architect to design and drive future-oriented platform architectures. In this role, you will take full ownership of technical solution design, working closely with Software and Enterprise Architects to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing platform ecosystems aligned with the organization’s long-term strategy.
As part of our team, you will take on the following responsibilities: You design, build, and operate modern cloud services based on container, PaaS, and SaaS technologies.You work daily with Azure Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Kafka, the Grafana stack, Instana, ArgoCD, and cloud‑native Postgres databases.You integrate new technologies into the DKV cloud environment and ensure their seamless functional operation.You develop additional software and integration components using agile methods and create clear technical requirements.You ensure a stable, scalable, and secure operation of our cloud infrastructure – including monitoring and recovery in case of failures.You support and train the development teams, optimize existing solutions, and continuously evaluate new technologies.
Responsible for the inclusion of Cardiovascular elements into proposals.Provide scientific, clinical, and operational advice to internal stakeholders developing proposals: this may include, but is not limited to, providing the strategy to protocol design/clinical development plan, mining data to address important clinical questions relevant to the study, reviewing the protocol for scientific/regulatory soundness and feasibility, identification of target site and principal investigator profiles, anticipated patient recruitment, standard of care and competitive landscape.Support preparation of customer and bid defense meetings, e.g. training and preparation of the assigned project team; provide specific content; ensure presentation focus and content effectively conveys Cardiovascular strategy.

As part of our team, you will take on the following responsibilities: You take on strategic responsibility for steering and further developing national and international post‑merger integration programs, aligned with group-wide integration and governance standards.You design and define the Target Operating Model (TOM) and develop sustainable, cross‑company integration strategies to ensure a successful organizational merger.You lead complex, multinational PMI projects and coordinate all involved departments, business units, and functional stakeholders.You implement the integration strategy, derive clear recommendations for action, and ensure target achievement together with the business units and top management.You act as an important sparring partner for internal stakeholders on PMI and transformation topics and advise the executive management on integration risks, synergy potentials, and organizational impacts.You further develop PMI concepts, governance structures, methods, tools, and best practices, and establish them across the group.You build a KPI‑based tracking and reporting framework for the post‑merger integration (PMI) process and align it closely with management.

In addition, you operate and optimize observability solutions for Azure resources, Kafka, and integration applications, create dashboards following best practices, and implement alerting as well as automated remediation mechanisms. You design and implement operational concepts for Azure resources, Confluent Cloud, and integration projects and consistently apply Infrastructure‑as‑Code, for example using Terraform.
